RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At Beauté Magasin we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund. It does not affect your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day on which you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example, an email to info@beautemagasin.lv) before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form in Section 12 below, but it is not obligatory.

2. Voluntary Extended Returns (30 days)

In addition to your statutory 14-day right, we voluntarily offer a 30-day return window for products that are unused and still sealed in their original packaging. This goodwill period does not replace or reduce your legal rights.

3. Conditions for Return

• the item is in the same condition in which you received it;
• it is unused, undamaged and, where applicable, its seal is intact;
• it is in its original packaging.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning; in that case we may reduce the refund accordingly.

4. Hygiene Exception for Cosmetic Products

For reasons of health protection and hygiene, sealed cosmetic and personal care products cannot be returned once they have been unsealed or opened after delivery (Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This exception does not apply where a product is defective, damaged in transit or not the item you ordered — in those cases Section 7 applies.

5. How to Return an Item

Please contact us at info@beautemagasin.lv with your order number before sending anything back. We will reply with the return address (our warehouse in Spain) and instructions. Please send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal.

6. Return Shipping Costs

If you withdraw from the contract or return an item for reasons of personal preference, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you. We recommend a trackable shipping method. If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, we cover the return shipping cost.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is defective, damaged or not the product you ordered, please contact us at info@beautemagasin.lv, ideally with a photo of the issue. Under the EU legal guarantee of conformity (2 years from delivery) you are entitled to a replacement, repair, price reduction or a full refund, including delivery and return shipping costs.

8. Refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (except any additional cost if you chose a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

9. Items That Cannot Be Returned

• cosmetic or personal care products that have been opened or unsealed after delivery (see Section 4), unless defective;
• gift cards, where applicable.

10. Exchanges

If you would like a different product, please return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
